Youth Action Council Virtual Press Confrence
April 8th - 4-6pm.
Osborne Youth Action Council met with legislators and urged them to pass the Protect In-Person Visiting Bill to ensure that New York's jails and prisons do not reduce or eliminate in-person visiting hours in favor of fee-for-service video conferencing.
Currently, only the Osborne Association and Rikers Island offer free video conferencing, meant to supplement in-person visits that are critical for children's wellbeing. Learn more about the urgent need to Protect In-Person Visits by joining the Youth Action Council Press Conference.
